More than 9,500 soccer fans filled the stands at the Moncton Stadium on Wednesday night to see Brazil beat Costa Rica 1-0 in the FIFA Women's World Cup, but many left disappointed that superstar Marta Vieira da Silva didn't play. At one point in the game, fans chanted, "We want Marta," but with Brazil already in first place in its group, the coach decided to let her rest. Marlyse and Paulo Loureiro, who are originally from Brazil but now live in Moncton, say it was an exciting game even though Marta didn't take the pitch.
