In this video, I share some of my thoughts regarding how we ought to respond to the ultra wealthy mega church superstars. It's easy to call them wolves in sheeps clothing, and I think in large part, they are responsible for contributing to the downfall of Christianity, and the watering down of the Gospel. But is it ALL their fault? Or is the body of Christ also to blame for being complacent, and lacking any real action for preserving the Word, and instead, following only those who tickle the ears? In the Old Testament, the people of Israel pretty much demanded that they get a king, despite the fact that God Himself was supposed to be the ruler over the nation. God gave them their wish, and Israel went through many troubles because of the man centered approach to their nation. Some were good kings, some bad, but it was only in response to the people that God allowed for such things to occur. Similarly, are we today guilty of putting certain people on a platform, even though Jesus Christ should be Lord of our lives?
